Ten Random Things Floating Around In My Head Tonight...

1. Monkey hugged me and said, "Are you losing weight? You aren't as chunky as you usually are." I chose to take it as a compliment. Slugging him (or worse) would have been the other option.

2. Seven cats from the cat explosion (that occurred at my house)have new homes as of this morning.

3. I will be 38 in a few weeks and I still don't have to wear glasses. I saw the eye doctor today and she said I'll probably make it to 45 without them. Last year, she said 42. This year she said 45. Next year, she'll say...48. When you look at it...this is majorly great news...because my eyes are not getting old! (At least that's a cool way of looking at it...and I'm all into cool ways of looking at things these days!)

4. Supper was chicken strips and tater tots and was shared with family. Simple food and good company.

5. Monkey is playing music tonight at a friend's church. I tried to get him to come home and drink beer on the porch with me. I must be the devil. But he resisted my charms tonight. But we made a date for tomorrow.

6. Ava, AnnaBanana, and Feebee are watching Chronicles of Narnia in the living room. Feebee is my new neice. She married BeeBee who is Monkey's nephew. I'm sure I'll write about them a lot because they have become so close to us in the last year. They bought a house down the road from us and they can smell the food when I'm cooking so they usually end up over here round about supper time...which is just fine with me.

7. I would love to have lots of money. Michigan Bulb and Springhill Nursery would LOVE me. And my passport would actually have a stamp or ten or twenty. And my clawfoot tub would be in my bathroom not my storage room.

8. Here's a horrible thought...I wonder if I'm allergic to beer. I drank one and a half (had to share the last one with FeeBee) Miller Lite Ponies...and my nose is all of a sudden stopped up. This is nothing new. It always happens like this. I just choose to ignore it.

9. I ordered my dress for the reunion last night. I hope it fits and I hope it's "right" for the occasion. We shall see. Staci said the other night...25 days...less than that now. I can't wait to see her. She's reason enough to go back to high school after 20 freaking years. Man...she ought to feel very special. Seriously.

10. I really need to be reading my Human Sexuality textbook. But it's so much more fun when Monkey's home and I can show him the pictures.

Later Dudettes!
