A Scrapbooker's Nightmare!!!

Over the weekend, I took some very important pictures. With my "designer's eye," (okay..that was sarcasim but said with sincere honesty) I had created several pages that these pictures were going to star on. A few were of my mother in law and several of her very old and ill friends. I had dug up several old pictures of them together and was going to put them together on a page for MawMaw...in my scrapbook, of course, though. Then I'd taken beaucoup pictures at the Super Bowl party...one of Mr. K and Ava (one we have to take every year...Ava ages, Mr. K doesn't), one very good pictures of me and three of my long-time buddies...then I got some of my friend L's geriatric and arthritic dog who's been part of their family for 12 years...and so many others that were amazingly special to me. You would probably wonder why. But I didn't. Anyhoo...after a night of exciting fun watching the Super Bowl with friends and family....I'm going through my digital camera...and see a blurry picture...and decide to delete that one. Next thing I know, I'm crying because it deleted EVERYTHING. My heart is breaking.

So I decided today that I am going to Fake Super Bowl party page. I'm going tonight to take a picture of the friends that were there...plus one that wasn't...so that will be funny once I tell the story. Oh, I'm just plain sick.

Another scrapbooking nightmare...missing the photo of a great story. Yesterday, I'm at cheer practice...and the girls remind me of a promise I made them at the end of the season. I promised them that I'd be able to do the splits before the end of the year. (Yes, sometimes, I forget that I'm not 12 anymore.) Well, so we stretch out and they start with me...Ms. T...you got to try...yadyadda....so I slip right in the perfect split. Then I realize that I can't move my legs. The girls have to pull me up. Okay...yes, I'm embarrassed by now. I can't believe I'm retelling it. No picture but a really great story. I can do one perfect split. But I hurt like heck and no picture to prove it.
