Yall come on in...Bloggy Tour of Homes...

Yall come on in!
Keb, Pickalish, and Zephra did this Bloggy Tour of Homes thing. I think Boomama started it. Anyways, it's purty dang cool.

This is the front door. Lovely, isn't it? I didn't realized how my house is suffering from summer burn-out until I took this picture. I love it when fall rolls around. I always decorate the front porch. Looks much better in the fall.



As you step inside the front door, you are being greeted by Captain. Isn't he the cutest thing? I love my foyer. It's so me. Scrapbooks, books, magnolias...me.



As you walk out of the foyer, this is what you see. Quilt on the couch because Sam often sleeps there...books, family pictures, quilt collection...what makes our house feel like home.



Our dining room and kitchen. Can you see the shoe bug on the table? Ava made that for me years ago in Art Camp. I still love it. I like that homey, cozy look and feel. No, it's not like of taste or style. Really...I like it that way.



This is where...we sleep. I usually have a stack of scrapbooking magazines...or whatever I'm reading at the moment on my nightstand. The Bassett Hound on the bed...looks just my Sam when he was younger.
