Doodle Bug Doodle Bug...

Title of this post=my first thought as I began this post. Why?

You know...I do believe I'd have a hard time keeping a straight face if my boss was Russia's President Putin. We'd be sitting in his office having a meeting....and I'd be thinking..."You old fart." Everytime I hear the name, Putin...I thinking pooting. (I admit it takes very little to amuse me.)

Well, I came back to work to find out that there had been a mistake in what I'd been told as to how much vacation time I had. Now, before I scheduled my vacation, I went to Human Resources and had them check for me so that I wouldn't take anything I didn't have. I always take my vacation in June because I have to take any vacation I have before July 3 or I lose it. They gave me a little memo with what vacation I had left. I scheduled my time according to that memo. Long story short. A former employee screwed up everything (typical excuse, huh) and it started way back in 1998. Why this problem hasn't been found and corrected before now...especially since I checked on this several times a year...is beyond me. Ends up that I don't have any vacation time until July 3, 2007 and even then I'll be four hours short.

I'll be having a garage sale at my SIL's this weekend. Ava and I have been working like crazy pulling things out and now we're pricing everything. I haven't been able to scrapbook this week because the garage sale stuff is overtaking my room. I can't even get to my scrapbook table. By this weekend though, it should be clear again and I'll get some scrapping time in. I tell myself everytime I have a garage sale. If I would just price things as I decide to sell them...all through the year...and put them in a box in the attic...it would be so much less work. I'm doing that this time. All I'll have to do when we decide to do this again is pull the boxes out of the attic. At the rate I'm going now, I'll have another garage sale in the fall.

I've got a list a mile long of things I want to blog about but I'm going to save them for when I have a little more time to write.

Later Dudettes.
