Lightly Sweet and Nutty...

That title came off of a Wheat Thins box. I am so original. I know.

Well, well...let's see.

I felt the need to buy a suit yesterday. Brown pants and a brown and white pinstripe jacket. So chic! And some heels. Brown crock and even though the heels are high, I can still walk in them. Amazing. And a matching purse. I need to polish my image a bit, I think. I haven't had nails in years...but I'm thinking it's time I get some. I'm trying to decide if Merle Norman or Clinique would make me more beautiful. (I know...I know...people are starving and I'm worrying about this crazy stuff. Forgive the superficiality.) I think Merle Norman for foundation and Miracol and Clinique for cleansing and glamour.

My garden is doing pretty good. I've got oodles of green tomatoes right now. I cooked squash last night from my garden. Of course, I was the only one to eat it because I grilled it. Ava likes it fried. And I don't what Monkey's problem was. My cucumbers and watermelons haven't done too great but I've got as many snap beans as eight plants can produce. Oh, and my cantaloupes are growing wild! I'm going to have cantaloupes to share soon! On the gardening front, I'm thinking it's time to do some more landscaping. I have a place by the back door that I want to plant a flower bed...and along one side of the house...and the front of the house. Yep. It's time for some gardening.

I've been trying to get all the loose ends tied up because I'm leaving at noon next Wednesday for vacation. We leave next Friday for Arkansas and I can't wait! Who knows what next week may bring? The possibilities are endless! (Don't you love my newly adopted positive attitude?)

Well, what else? It's been a while since my last post so you'd think I'd have something interesting to talk about. But no, not yet.
