Whoa!

I've been a really bad blogger. Bad, bad blogger. If there is anyone left that occasionally comes to this blog, here's an random list of things that's been going on in my life or in my head.

I made it through graduation without anything major happening. All in all, everything turned out okay, considering the level of perfection required.

I fell down the stairs yesterday and bruised my leg up really ugly. Skinny heels and me...we don't get along. Really...if my foot isn't flat on the floor, it's probably not a safe proposition any way you look at it.

I missed the best trail ride of the year Saturday because I had to work. Yall remember the pictures that I posted last year from the ride on the river? Well, it was that ride. The weather was perfect and I was just friggin sick that I didn't get to go. Woe is me. Get a grip, Marybeth.

Yesterday was Hatchett Day at work. The ax was a'swinging. Oh, the drama that I wish I could elaborate on...but that ax still works. So for now, I'll be a good little girl and keep my mouth shut.

Did I ever tell yall that Faith Ford is my neighbor? Well, sort of. She lives a few miles down road. But the other day, I saw her tooling around in her little "Look at Me" yellow sports car convertible. Actually, it was kind of cool to see her just acting like a normal person. I saw her in Walmart one time, too. I almost didn't recognize her. I think she likes to come home because we just let her be normal. Anyway, it was kind of cool.

I scheduled my vacation for the summer and I can't wait. Nuff said about that.

ChooChoo gave me a gift and a card for Mother's Day. First one in twelve years. The cool thing is that the card was so perfect for me which means she actually took some time to pick it out. It wasn't generic. Yall just don't know how out of the ordinary this is. But really cool.

My garden is looking really pretty. It's gett a bit more lush. I worked out there Saturday afternoon. I planted some more plants, mulched, weeded, fed and watered. I need to water tonight. Maybe I'll take some pictures. Cause I know yall are dying to see my garden.

On the American Idol front, I'm probably in the minority here but I'm more upset that Elliott is still on the show than that Chris is not. If Elliott doesn't go home tonight, I don't know if I'm going to even watch the finale.

I got on the scales and I've lost ten pounds. Very big surprise. Sweet. I don't know how it happened but I'm not arguing. I've been walking with Chante. I guess that helps...and gardening...and riding horses. As far as eating goes, I'm still addicted to fast food and Diet Coke. That's what they'd take away from me if "Honey, We're Killing The Kids" came to my house.

Yesterday, MawMaw was upset with me because I was five (seriously!) minutes late picking her up for her lab work. We got there at 8:05 am instead of 8:00 am. She had to wait and Esther doesn't like to wait. I figured that she'd never call me again to do anything for her. But she called me this morning to see if I'd take her to the doctor tomorrow. She pointedly asked me if I thought I could get her there on time. Old people. Geesh. I love her. And because I love her so much, I will do everything in my power to get her there early tomorrow.

I have a date with ChooChoo Saturday afternoon to go see The DaVinci Code. I could really get on my soap box about this...and the way organized religion is treating it...but that's a post of it's own. I'll get back to you on this.

I've got the coolest dog food and water bowls shaped like martini and cosmopolitan glasses that I've got to list on Pets Royale. I'm going to try to get them listed today. They are just the cutest things!

Hopefully, I'll be able to spend some time catching up on yall's blogs this week. I've been missing yall!

Later Dudettes.
