So perfect...but...

There is always a "but."

So I see this ad in the Classifieds today:

It goes on. The starting salary is about $1.15 less that I make now but with 20 years of working experience, I may not have to start at the beginning. It's with a pet resort in town. A very nice, expensive, and fancy pet resort. I know the place well.

Sounds perfect for me. Don't you think? Okay...so why then does it sound perfect to me and to you but not Monkey? Because Monkey says that with 20 years of experience I should be stuck in a stupid butt boring office for 40 hours a week. (Okay...he didn't say those exact words...but he just doesn't get WHY I was looking in the classifieds in the first freaking place.) Yes, I'm smart and I'm efficient and I'm good at organizing and details...and I know I have 20 years of office experience. But it could be that the idea of working with animals excites me because sitting behind a boring desk shuffling paper under artificial lighting doesn't. We'll see...maybe I'll happen upon the most exciting office position. Maybe. Just maybe.

Well, I'm going to change clothes and go for a walk. The first step in my own "Get Healthy" lifestyle changes. I'm going to document every step because if I can succeed, then anyone can. Maybe I'll write a book. Not that I'm this great writer or anything but I'm all for inspiring and motivating people. I could use a good motivating book like that. I think I'm going to read Fit From Within by Victoria Moran (one of my favorite authors in the whole world) again. Yep...that book will motivate me!
