Shaken but not stirred...
I don't know a thing about martinis. But it's kind of how I feel right now...in a nervous but excited kind of way.First off...I've been home sick since Wednesday. Really sick because my computer is right here by my bed. Actually my on my bedside table. But this evening is the first I've actually felt like even turning it on or even sitting in the chair. But I am feeling a little better tonight. I promised myself I'm going to get dressed in real clothes tomorrow. I'm not going anywhere but I'm going to get out of my nightgown. I don't know what Sam is going to do Monday...he's getting quite accustomed to sleeping with me all day long.
Now, on to the good news. Pets Royale should be on-line early next week. I've seen it and I think it looks good. Monkey and ChooChoo didn't show any major excitement when they saw it. Ava did, though. She's my little cheerleader. It's not elaborate (which isn't a bad thing) but it looks good and functional. I'm excited beyond words but also a little nervous. (Shaken but not stirred.) I just want to be a success. I've made an investment in time and money...and in my dream. I've got to be a success. I want to do everything right. I've already made some mistakes...but so far, I've made them...corrected them...and moved on. But even so, it's not fun to make the wrong business decisions. That said, I've made a few good decisions, too. I'm pleased with my decision to work with my webstore designer and I like my logo. Business is fun...but it can be a source of worry as well. I'm already learning that.
I really need a place for all of my stuff. Yall remember I lost "my" room when ChooChoo moved in. She was talking tonight about moving in with her best friend. Of course, I don't think it's a good idea because I don't think she's mature enough and I don't think they have room for her (and her stuff!) but I'm not arguing at this point. Anybody know how to get the nasty butt smoke smell out of a room?
Well, I'm going to be working on Pets Royale this weekend. It's supposed to rain 100% tomorrow which is good for my garden. But I've got some photo work and text writing that needs to be done. Some inventory work. Some financial work. Then I'm going to get outside and pull some weeds and do some gardening Sunday afternoon. I've got to get out of this house! I've had too much house and daytime TV this week.
Later Dudettes.
