Zoom...Zoom...Zoom...
The days of the week are just zooming by. I realized at 7:05 pm that it was Tuesday night and time for American Idol. It's weird though because when I'm at work, the minutes just poke on by. Anyway, on to the show...Mandisa: Can it get any better than this? I don't think so.
Bucky: I hope Bucky doesn't read this...cause you know I don't want to hurt his feelings but it's time for him to go bye bye. Of all the contestants, he is the weakest link. I'm sure he's a sweet guy but he needs to head on back home now.
Paris: She did okay but tonight, she's got Mandisa to contend with. I like Paris and I think that she's going to have a steady career in music. But I'm not feeling like she's really competing in the same league with Mandisa and Katharine...or even Kelly when she picks the right song.
Chris: I wasn't too excited about Walk the Line but once again, Chris proved that he is an amazing talent. Geeze...that man...oh, for love of all that is good and wonderful....oh, I wouldn't care if the sound went out as long as the picture didn't. Chris is eye candy. Oh, and he rocks my world!
Katharine: Pure class. Nothing else needs to be said. Remember when I said that Katharine was going to be one of the last two standing? Well, I'm going to be right. I know I am.
Taylor: The song wasn't right for him. I think tonight was an off night vocally but he still put all of his energy into the performance. I love watching him...and I was be-bopping right along with the rest of America. His passion for music is obvious and makes whatever he does on stage fun and exciting. Tonight, his song choice was a bit boring...but watching him was fun.
Lisa: I don't like the arrangement of this song. I didn't think it was a knock-out performance. I love her poise and her energetic youthfullness and I think she'll be a big star one day. But there are better singers and performers competing in this competition now.
Kevin: Now, yall don't have a stroke. But Chicken Little chose the perfect song for him and did a pretty good job singing it. I am not a Kevin fan. I don't like his style. I was really dreading hearing him tonight because he annoys the poop out of me. But tonight, he sang a song that he connected with and didn't try to be someone he wasn't. Good job, Chicken Little. He will stay one more week but just because Bucky had a worse night and because Kevin gets the cute Chicken Little vote. Not mine, mind you. But somebody's, I'm sure.
Elliott: I am not a big fan of Elliott but I think that this was probably one of his best performances. But coming from me...that's not saying much. For some reason, I just don't connect with this guy. I can't for the life of me figure out the what the judge see in him. Like Bucky, I don't know why he made it this far.
Kelly: Oh, my Kelly is back! Perfect! I can't wait to buy her CD!
Ace: Dear God...you know he was making those sultry eyes at me, don't you? Well, he was. They came right through my TV into my bedroom. Yeah, they did. I forgot to listen to him cause I was watching so hard. Did he sound good?
Bottom three: Bucky, Lisa, Kevin
And Bucky goes home.
Night Dudettes.
