Thursday Thirteen Time Again!!!

1. There's a terrible storm right now. It's flooding. The wind is blowing. Seems like a hurricane. But it's not June yet. We're in a tornado watch. I hate tornadoes worse than I hate hurricanes. With hurricanes, you have some time to prepare but tornadoes can pop up "when conditions are favorable." Well, conditions are favorable. 2. You never know who reads your blog. A while I posted about a book called Teeth in a Pickle Jar and this morning, I get an email (actually a comment)from the author of the book. She was as sweet as she could be. She assured me that the book was delightful but with the style and grace of a true Southern belle. I know she went to school in New York and has spent some time overseas and Florida's not really the South (I don't understand that...but that's what Christy says)...but I am making her an honorary Southern belle 'cause she deserves it. Helena (yes, we are friends now and I can call her by her first name. Right, Ms. Milligan?)...you are now an honorary Southern belle. 'Cause I'm The Southern Goddess, I can do that. 3. Christy, Helena could be your next door neighbor. 4. Monkey is on his way back from Houston. He had his first check-up since his second surgery. He went with his brother-in-law. He said he's doing fine. The doctor was happy with his progress. Somehow, I knew he was going to say that. 5. I have put legs my dreams. This means I am actually working on making them come true. Details to follow. 6. Who goes home tonight? I wish Kinnick, Ayla, Will and Elliott would. That's not the way it will happen, though. I'm pretty sure it's the end of the road for Kinnick and Will. But Kevin and Melissa will go before Ayla and Elliott...even though that really stinks. 7. Ava says Taylor looks like he's having a seizure when he sings. I say he's got so much passion in his music and he's a white man. If he was a black man with that kind of passion, he wouldn't look like he's having a seizure. 8. I still love Taylor...and Chris. Oh, I never knew a bald head could be so danged sexy. Or gray for that matter. Yes, Taylor is sexy. In a Michael McDonald sort of way. 9. I miss my dogs. One of these days, I'll be able to take my dogs to work. 10. Oh, that reminds me. Dai-Dai is at the vet getting her teeth cleaned. Oh, that dog has butt breath. I need to call to check on my baby. 11. Dai-Dai is fine. 12. I can't put off finishing my paper any longer. This weekend is it. I also have to read something by Pope and something by Swift. And whatever it is, it's long. So I can't wait til Monday night to start reading. I'd rather be reading and writing other things. 13. I am so not doing homework tonight.
