Fruit Loops and Fur People...

Hi, yall! It's a good feeling when you can sit here on a Sunday afternoon...and not worry about writing papers or studying or whatever. I know...I'm supposed to be regretting dropping that class by now. But if we're completely honest here, I'm not. Nope...not in the very least. I'm loving the feeling of sitting here at the computer...eating dry Fruit Loops out of the box without anything absolutely pressing to do. (Of course, I get one Fruit Loop for every four that come out of the box. It's one for Gracie, one for Dai-Dai, one for Captain, one for Sam...then I get one. Then repeat and repeat again.) Yeah, I've got laundry and some picking up around the house to do but that's not on top of studying. I'm just saying I feel better.

Staci and her girls came to visit this weekend and it was just the greatest thing to see them. We stayed up late...went shopping...went to lunch...barbequed...just hung out together. It was great! I hated to see them go. You don't know how bad I wish they lived right down the road so I could see them all the time. I miss them so bad already. How about next weekend yall? Okay...okay...but soon. Okay? I can't write about this anymore. It's making me sad.

We had to go to the wedding of a couple in their 70's today. I'm happy for them. I am. But...Geeze,Louise. I'm trying not to think about the things that usually happen on a wedding night (or afternoon as it is when your wedding is at noon). Geeze, Louise. See if you have a wedding...people KNOW what you are doing when it's over. (Of course, in this case, maybe not.) I'm all about just go on with life without making people stop to think about what you are doing in your private places. I can't write about this anymore. It's making me...oh, I don't know...not wanting to think about this anymore.

New Business update: Things are moving along nicely. More details to follow. Really I can't wait to tell yall about it but right now...I just don't have a lot to tell because I'm still pulling everything together.

I got Teeth In A Pickle Jar yesterday. That's the book that I've been talking about written by Helena Bachmann Milligan. As soon as I finish this post, I'm going to reboot the laundry and change the sheets on my bed...and crawl in it and read. Don't ya just love sheets when they are fresh out of the dryer? I'm going to actually read a book for the sheer pleasure of it. What a concept! I've glanced through it and it looks good. I can't wait to get started! Yeah, I am so not regretting dropping this class yet.

Later Dudettes!
