Self Portrait...
The most comfortable shoes in the world....

I'm always taking pictures of stuff and I don't know why. As I looked at this picture, I wondered why I took it. I made a discovery about myself.
All day long, I've been walking around in high heels. Really cute high heels. Pointy toes and everything. But I wasn't home five minutes before changed into my boots so I could go out and feed the horses. This is when I made my discovery.
Whatever I do next in my life, I want to be wearing my boots. They represent everything that makes me happy. They are comfortable. They are made for the way that I really want to live my life. They represent a connection to nature and animals. (They can be cleaned up and dressed up, too.) They represent the real me. When I am wearing my boots, there's no pretending...whether I'm happy or sad...what you see is what you get.
So wherever the road of life takes me next, I want to be wearing my boots.
