American Idol "The Girls"

Okay...can I just say Ryan is a hottie? Okay...on to the girls.

Mandisa She started this show off with a lot of energy. Very important. I love Heart and I think that Mandisa showed that she is a really good entertainer. I did want to tell her to put her clothes back on. I was worried that we might have a wardrobe malfunction. She's got a great smile and an infectious personality. Interesting observation Ryan made...her top was shaped like a heart. Admitting he's looking at her boobs on national TV. Geesh.

Kelly Pickler Can this girl get any sweeter? I just want adopt her as my own. I love her emotion and the power in her voice. She's definitely got the likeability factor. Vocally, I think the song choice was good. But gosh, she's a nervous wreck. Sincere. Heartfelt. Her "Clyde, I'll make you a sandwich" story made her seemed so real and genuiune. I need to get my thesarus out because precious doesn't begin to describe this sweetie. She's got to work on the nerves so that her vocals can shine...but this one's got my heart.

Becky O'Donahue Her strong points is that she is beautiful and very commercial. I agree with Simon that visually, she's a 10 but vocally, she's a 6.5. She could sell anything and she sings okay. But I didn't find that there was a lot of excitement in her performance. If she wasn't so beautiful, I'd be bored blind.

Ayla Brown Vocally, she's aw-ight. (Has Randy said that at all this year?) She just doesn't have that "it" factor for me.

Paris Bennett This is a FIRECRACKER! Cute as a button! She took Midnight Train To Georgia and gave us the ride of the night! She's an amazing little performer. Oh, gosh! Wardrobe malfunction! Bless her heart. Those girls better watch that! All kinds of rumors will be flying!

Oh, that Burger King commercial is way too cheesy. Ugh. I'm afraid that we are going to be seeing that stupid commercial way too many times. If they show this commerical at the same time tomorrow night, guess when I'll be taking my bathroom break.

Stevie Scott No. Just no.

Brenna Gethers Ugh. Please get this girl off my TV. She's going to sing You Are The Sunshine in My Life by Stevie Wonder. Like I said...get off my TV. I am looking for the mute button on the remote. Why do I have the feeling that she's coming back next week?

Now...I love that little green Geico gecko. He is the Kermit of 2006.

Heather Cox I like her shirt. Why does Simon have be such an ass?

Melissa McGhee I don't know why but I like her. She's a little different. Sultry. But the performance was not amazing.

Lisa Tucker When you're good, you're good. She's so poised for only sixteen. Dang! Did you see her mother? They look exactly alike. Both of them beautiful.

Kinnik Sky That has to be one of the strangest names I've ever heard. This has to be for me the surprise of the night. I like her raspy voice. Sort of. She's hard to look at though. And I'm not trying to be rude. Is that a denim dress? I like the dress.

Katharine McPhee Ladies and Gentlemen: When there are two standing on that stage...Katharine McPhee will be one of them. Perfect.

Well, I have to say...my standards were high. But I enjoyed the show. I think it's going to be a good season. I got a vote in for Kellie Pickler (for Ava and my heart)...but I haven't got through for Katharine yet.

Bottom three: Heather, Kinnick and Stevie

The two to go: Stevie and Heather even though I wish America would give Heather a second chance...but I think their more likely to give Kinnik a second chance.

Later Dudettes. That show was two hours long...and I still have homework.
