Today feels like Tuesday...

I walked around yesterday thinking it was Monday all day long. Today I'm trying keep reminding myself that it's Wednesday. I guess it's better to be ahead than behind. I just have to remember to get Ava (that's my new name for A...isn't it pretty?) to church.

A will now be called Ava in this blog.
M will now be called Monkey in this blog.

I am slowly trying to catch up on yall's blogs. Just wanted you to know. I hate posting comments to the last post without catching up for a while....so if I don't post comments right away...I will soon. I miss yall...and even though I wasn't on the computer during the holidays...I thought of yall often.

It seems life is getting back to normal...from the sounds of my post...back to boring...I guess. Monkey and I woke up at 3:30 am. Then of course, 15 minutes before I actually HAVE to drag my butt out of bed, I fall into this incredibly deep sleep.

Monkey and I have been talking about finding a place with more land for the horses. Somebody called last night about a place for sale. 20 acres, house, barn, shop, pond, fenced. I was thinking about it last night. But this morning, it tires me to think about it. I've got school starting next week and I'm just going to be too busy to think about buying a house and moving right now. Luckily, these people would sell today or next year...whenever the buyer is ready. So I'm leaving this one in God's hands.

I'm keeping a log of how much money I spend each day. Really, the purpose is to find where the leaks are and what areas I need to budget for. On the first day of my resolve not to spend money uselessly...the grand total was $241.40. Pretty crappy, huh. Here's the breakdown so you won't think I'm a wreckless fool.

$ 2.00 Diet Coke (from Sonic)
$ 5.00 Lunch (from Mickey D's)
$ 94.92 Pharmacy (I have to sleep. New year...new deductible)
$ 22.97 Campus Bookstore (Notebook and calendar)
$ 31.00 Gas (I fill my gas tank on Mondays...except yesterday was Tuesday but can I get that through my head? Uh, no.)
$ 85.51 Grocery

Total: $241.40

I'm going to keep this log going. Hopefully, throughtout the year. Some leaks are obvious (fast food, caffiene) and some areas of expenses are pretty clear (gas, pharmacy, grocery) but I'm hoping to put a dollar amount on all these expenses and find ways to reduce theses expenditures. I'm sure some additional areas will pop up as well. I'll be visiting Cindy quite a bit this year.

Guess I better get some more work done. Will be back when I have something interesting to say. Nawwwwww.....I'm just kidding. I'll be back sooner than that!
