Thirteen Things about MARYBETH


1. I feel fat.
2. I actually started re-reading French Women Don't Get Fat last night.
3. Obviously, I am not a French woman.
4. Why do I put makeup on in the morning?
5. It disappears by 8:00 am.
6. One of our students told the head of one of our departments that I was "influential in her academic endeavors and in her successes."
7. That makes my job completely worthwhile.
8. I'm wondering if this shirt makes me look like an old woman.
9. My neck and back hurts again.
10. That portfolio isn't going to make itself.
11. I feel the need for a little glamour in my life.
12. #11 is totally obsurd.
13. I'm a country girl. Mucking stalls and glamour don't go well together.
