Monday Morning Musings...
Whew...the weekend. Man, it was non-stop to say the least. The bluegrass show Friday night was fun even though I'm not a big bluegrass fan. Clyde read from The Floatplane Notebooks which I HAVE to read now. HILARIOUS! Supper at JL and J was wonderful. Saturday, I had to go to the white trash party but we didn't stay long. I wasn't feeling much like socializing. I was just being neighborly. I don't know many of their friends and A was at home by herself so we excused ourselves early. Yesterday, I got to see Staci and her kids...and Jo's daughter, too. I tell you...looking at K was like looking at Jo 20 years ago. It was crazy. That kid has personality PLUS and she's quite the little style maven. Staci's daughter is beautiful and so smart. I know she and A would be good friends if they had the chance to get to know each other better. I love the way Staci and I can see each other and it's like a day hasn't passed. She looks so good. I swear that girl is younger today than she was 20 years ago. I need to do whatever she's doing because she's sooooo young and beautiful!I took my French mid-term. That's all I can say.
How do stop shoes from squeaking? It sounds like I'm wearing sopping wet shoes when I walk and it's driving me crazy?
I don't know what happened to the paragraphs on my previous posts. Probably something happened when I was messing with blogbinders. I'm wondering if cut and paste wouldn't be easier...then print and have it binded across the hall at Graphic Services.
I don't have class tonight but I have this insane assignment to do this week PLUS a technology-connected lesson plan assignment. Of course, it's my fault that I haven't done that assignment yet...but hey, I've got a busy life. Anyhoo, I'm more excited about my...uh, I mean Abby's Halloween party. This year, when somebody asked "What can I do?" I gave them something to do and it seems that everyone is excited. Two of A's friends mamas are bringing food and coming to help decorate. M's nephew's girlfriend is coming to help decorate and make cupcakes...and get everything ready. I tell you what...D better not ever break up with that girl...because his whole family will kick some major butt. She is such a sweetie and she loves our family as much as we love her. We're going to have so much freaking fun!!! Oh, and kids and adults ALL will be in costume!
Just so yall know Cinnamon Altoids chewing gum is the hottest gum I've ever put in my mouth. It's so hot that I think I have blisters up in my mouth. I guess it's my own fault...because I keep chewing it. But it is the best gum I've tasted. Hottest, too.
Will write again soon to avoid housework and my computer class assignments.
