The tough questions...
A asked me some tough questions this morning. Watching the news, she asked, "Who's winning the war?" "How do you know who wins a war?" War...man...she's ten. It's a shame that she even has to think about war. She's a baby. Man.Then driving to work, A and I are discussing the price of gas and how that affects the cost of food, utilities and practically everything else. She asks, "Well, is your paycheck going up, too?" Well, that would be logical but no.
Okay...these are the questions my ten-year old asked this morning. You know what the morning news show anchorwoman asked at 6:00 am this morning? "Nick (her co-anchor/weatherman), do you think my hair is too poofy today? You know, I like big hair...but I just think it's poofier than it was yesterday." (This said in the dingiest twang you evah heard and with enough ditzy head twistin' give ME whiplash.) By the way, Nick's stunned answer was "Uh, yeah." I yelled out to the TV..."Girl, get off my TV at 6 o'clock in the morning!" Geesh.
