Here's my EXCITING news!!!

When Rin asked me "What is the one thing that you wanted to accomplish before the end of the year?"...I answered "lose 10 pounds." That was my safe answer. You know...the answer I gave because I was afraid that I wouldn't accomplish my "real" answer. But yall...Saturday night...I accomplished my REAL answer! I rode in my first rodeo! Yehaw! A rides every other weekend in a little country rodeo...but I never ride. Well, Saturday night...there weren't tons of people and I was having much fun warming Pride up for AnnaBanana...and everybody kept asking if I was going to ride. So I did...and had a blast! I rode barrels, poles, and straight flag...and actually placed in all three events! Now...yall understand that this isn't your big wig high flaluting rodeo...just family fun! But I did it! That was what I really wanted to do but I was afraid to say it. Okay...now I've got to lose 10 pounds.

My husband never ceases to amaze me. The other day...I'm driving him to work and he says..."I think you need to take some college classes and work toward your degree. You've got my support." Now, you've got to know that for 15 years, I've wanted his support because I've taken classes without his support and managed to pull "A's" but it's not easy. I don't know why it's taken 15 years for him to realize that A) I'm not going to leave him as soon as I get my degree or B) I won't think I'm smarter than him just because I have a degree. So I'm taking British Literature and Instructional Use of the Computer this fall.

I've been keeping a list of stuff that I want to write about so I'll try to write again soon. I'm swamped with stuff to do getting everything ready for back to school...for A and myself!
