Happy Mother's Day...
Father J told this story at mass today...I just had to share it.This couple get married and desperately want to start a family immediately. After a year of trying to conceive a child, they go to their priest and ask that he pray for them because they really want to start their family. Well, the priest tells them to go to St. Peter's in Rome and light a candle. So they did. And the priest was transferred out of their parish and didn't see them for ten years. He came back to the parish after ten years to visit. He saw the wife and ten kids. He asked her where her husband was. She said...he's gone to Rome to blow out that stupid candle!
Bless all of you mama's out there! Now I'm going to take a nap.
