Tonight's American Idol...

Now I've got Hall and Oates playing as I write this post. Oh, man...do I love those guys? Oh, yes...I love those guys! It was worth watching just to see them sitting in the audience. Is it just me or do they look exactly like they did 20 years ago? Here's what I thought about tonight...

Nadia: She's so beautiful. I loved her dress. Wouldn't it be cool if I could put on a dress like that and look that stunning? Oh, well...I can dream. Oh, yeah...she was singing about dreaming, too. I wasn't impressed with the song choice even though she did okay with the song. The dress was more memorable than the song tonight.
Bo: I was excited about Bo singing a Lynyrd Skynyrd song. I really wanted to hear Sweet Home Alabama. I know he would blow that song out of the water. I just love Bo...no matter what. He didn't blow me away with his performance tonight but I love Bo. Christybelle says he needs to cut his hair. I say Christy is CRAZY! (As Daryl and John are singing right now...I can't go for that...No Can Do.)
Anwar: I thought Anwar did a good job of this song. He's the kind of performer that just kind of sucks you into his world when he's singing. He makes you feel like he is singing to you...only you.
Anthony: I truely enjoyed Anthony's performance tonight. I loved the song...and he's really coming along as a performer. It seems like he's learning how to connect with the audience. He's growing on me.
Vonzell: I was acting just like Paula when Vonzell sang tonight. I was standing in my living room dancing and singing and feeling like I was at a Deniece Williams concert. I loved Vonzell tonight. It's freaky but she really took me back in time to when I was a teenager! Loved her outfit even though it seemed to keep her from really letting go because she couldn't move very easily. Great job, Vonzell!
Scott: I'm so torn with this guy. When he talks, I cringe. Ugh. He's not entertaining. He doesn't have the stage presence that the judges always harp on. But the boy can sing. Is this a singing contest or what? I don't know. He can sing. But he's not the total package.
Carrie: She's so beautiful. I think it was good try at a different genre...but I love the country girl. What was the "B" word she was talking about? Was it "boring?" Carrie isn't boring when she's herself. She wasn't herself tonight.
Constantine: Dear God...I can't believe I'm saying this. But I thought Constantine did a fine job tonight. Oh, God...I must be sick. But the boy is growing on me. I still have to say he nauseates me when he sticks his tongue out and when he gives the camera the eye...ugh. But he is growing as a performer...he's not my favorite but I have to give credit where credit is due.

This week's bottom three: Nadia, Scott, and Anwar.
Going home this week? Scott

Some side notes:

I hate the Burger King commercials.
I wonder if that Volum' Eyes mascara really works? I wonder if it's plant based?
