An amazing discussion...

As I've mentioned in previous posts, I've wanted to become a vegetarian for a while now. But I've been having trouble changing my lifestyle. Once again, this has been on my mind over the weekend. This morning, during pre-registration (work) one of my students came up to me and in the course of me pre-registering her, she mentioned that she was vegan. That is just really unheard of around here. For one thing, even if someone did make this choice, they would probably be pretty discreet about who they told. This choice is "against the grain" around here. So it can also be very lonely...which is probably why I haven't been successful in make the change. So this is why I find B and my conversation so amazing. I thought I was the only person in this state who wanted to be or was vegetarian. I'm so happy to have found someone right here at home who shares in my moral and health beliefs. So cool. I can't wait to talk to B more because I'm so glad to find someone around here who doesn't think I'm out of my mind!
