I've been waiting all week!!!

Okay...I just keep thinking that I really need to get a life. But really...I have one. It just doesn't seem that way when I continuously blog about American Idol.

Could someone tell me why my family has to totally drive me crazy when I sit down to watch the one show I watch each week? I mean...A is ten years old...but she insists on climbing all over my head and picking at my armpits (trying to tickle me) during Bo's performance. Uh, hello...did I just wait a solid week to hear his voice? YES! I let out a scream that scared the crap out of her...and she didn't move touch me again until Ryan said to start voting.

Here's my take on tonight's performances:

Jessica: I like her. I don't think she did a bang up job tonight but she was okay.
Anwar: This man is smooth. I really like him a lot. I think the type of song he sung tonight was "his" type of song...but I would like to hear him do something different. Something with some energy. He reminds me of a young Nat King Cole...maybe Lionel Ritchie. I'd buy his CD because he's so soothing.
Mikalah: I never realized how pretty she was before tonight but I'm sorry...the girl needs to go back home. I love the song...Son of a Preacher Man...but she just didn't do it justice.
Constantine: GO HOME and take a bath! The boy gets on my nerves...and the way he makes love to the camera...just grosses me out.
Lindsey: She's a beautiful girl and she's a Louisiana girl so I'm wishing her well. But unfortunately, I don't think that's going to be enough. I personally like her voice a lot...kind of smokey...kind of Bonnie Raitt-ish...but she doesn't have a lot of energy on stage so she can get a bit boring. I'd like to see her stay in the competition and find herself.
Anthony: Oh, man...song choice, song choice, song choice. I was quite surprised at his voice though. It wasn't bad at all...and much better than Constantine. I think he'll go before Connie though...because he doesn't make love to the cameras.
Nadia: WOW! Beautiful, elegant, talented....WOW!
Bo: The man is a god. He's just plain out ole PERFECT! I think Bo could get up there and sing Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star...and I'd swoon. If he doesn't get a CD out soon, I'm going to explode. This waiting a whole week to hear the man for one minute just isn't cutting the mustard.
Vonzell: She looked beautiful and did a good job tonight. I think she'll be around a little longer but she's going to have to kick it up a notch if she's going to hang with the big dogs.
Scott: He's not bad...actually, I like listening to him sing. I'm not sure how I feel about him yet. He doesn't have a lot of energy on stage. But is that a requirement if you can sing well? I'd like to see him stay around til I get a better feel for him.
Carrie: She's beautiful and talented. Carrie's one of my favorite girls. I'd like to see her really cut loose and have a good time.
Nikko: I just don't think a Jackson Five song was the best choice right now.

Okay...how many go home tomorrow? I can't remember if it's one girl and one guy...but here's my choices. It's time for Mikalah and Constantine to go home. I don't think that's the way it will be but it's the way I think it should be. As for what will actually happen...Lindsey and Anthony. Not my choices but for some reason, the people at Fox seem to know better.
