All's quiet on the homefront...
Well, A's spending the night with her best friend. I came home and planted some flowers in my daffodil bed. M and I ate supper outside at the picnic table. We fed and brushed all the horses. I walked the whole pasture looking for the halter that Shorty shucked. But I couldn't find it. That horse loses more halters than all of the horses put together! Then we sat outside together changing the bits on a couple of headstalls. We were just together...not saying a whole lot. Until M just turned on the television (which is now BLARING!), the only noise all evening was the dogs playing with each other in the hall...oh, and when a telemarketer called. It actually feels quite strange. Usually, there's so much activity in this house. Well, I guess I'll go fix me a fresh Diet Coke, take a bath and brush my teeth and go to bed. I never realized until right now...just how boring we are. But you know what...I love my life.
